It's a vamptastic, vamptacular week! We dig on the priestly bloodsucker in Thirst, find My Sucky Teen Romance pretty damn charming, and feel like Kiss of the Damned is a little too artsy for its own good. The short, Prita Noire, is as pretty as it is baffling.
Next week! It's the tail end of Women in Horror month, and we're celebrating with three films by female directors:
XX, an all-female-director anthology: Amazon
Don't Look Back, a French New Extremism thriller: Shudder
Mirror/Mirror, an early 90's cheesefest: Shudder
Our short is Vanilla Cake, from Fun Size Horror.
Minnesota Folks: Join us on Sunday, Feb 26th for GET OUT! We're headed to the Showplace Icon in St. Louis Park for a 7 p.m. showing with beer and discussion to follow. Get a jumpstart on the next episode and experience a film that's already getting amazing critical response. Check out the Facebook event and join us, can't you?

There's a lot to like on this week's podcast: The new Blair Witch is a far meaner motorscooter than the critics would have you believe. The Prowler is a hidden 80's gem. The Similars is a cool throwback to old Twilight Zone-style weirdness that was good for a few chills, too.
Next week: When Matt's away, it's vampires, yay!
We'll be watching:
Thirst (Korean vamps)
Kiss of the Damned
My Sucky Teen Romance

It's a mixed bag of supernatural ladyfolk in this week's show! Siren can't quite capture the magic of its short-film predecessor. Kayako vs. Sadako may not be a bout for the ages, but has it's moments. Satan's Cheerleaders is definitely a series of images brought to the illusion of life through the persistence of vision.
Next week! Each one pick one!
Matt (well, Megan really) picks: The Similars
Josh picks: Blair Witch (reboot/make/sequel)
Charlie picks: The Prowler
Our short is There Shall Come Angels. Listen, watch, comment, and we'll see you next week!

This week starts off with Matt covering Ini Kamoze's "Here Comes the Hotstepper," and just gets weirder from there. We pay tribute to fallen character actors Miguel Ferrer, George Kennedy, and Robert Loggia while enjoying some truly bonkers horror. There's the cat-ception of Uninvited, vampires & mobsters in Innocent Blood, and a vampire in a small-engine plane in Night Flier. Our short, the Captured Bird, was beautiful but baffling, like all the women in our lives.
Next week! Who rules the world? Demonic girls! We're watching:
Sadako Vs. Kayako - It's a Ring/Grudge Match! (Shudder)
Satan's Cheerleaders - We know nothing about this other than the title, which is enough. (Shudder)
Siren - Based on the best segment of the first V/H/S. (Amazon Instant)
